Should I update?

How Osnivo decides

  1. Update now — a newer update for your model and branch has published security fixes (marked urgent when Apple says an issue may have been exploited), or Apple's newer updates for your model are only on a newer major release.
  2. Update when convenient — newer updates exist, but Apple published no security content for them.
  3. You're up to date — you run the newest update Apple lists for your model on that branch. Moving to a new major release stays your call.

We cover updates released since 15 Sep 2025. Counts are the CVE entries on Apple's security notes; “No published security content” means Apple's security releases page lists the update with no published CVE entries.
