Mac Virtual Display shows your Mac's screen inside Vision Pro — up to a huge ultrawide canvas. Requirements (all current): same Apple Account with two-factor authentication on both devices, iCloud Keychain enabled, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on, and a Mac running macOS 14 Sonoma or later — Intel Macs included, capped at 3K in Standard mode (Apple-silicon Macs reach 5K).
How it starts: look at the Mac and tap the 'Connect' button that floats above it (or choose it from Control Center → Mac Virtual Display). One Mac at a time; on a multi-display Mac, only the main display is shown.
Display modes: Standard, Wide, and Ultrawide — Wide and Ultrawide require an Apple-silicon Mac on macOS 15.2+ with Vision Pro on visionOS 2.2+.
Connection details: it works over a direct local connection between the devices (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, no internet required). With an Apple-silicon Mac on macOS 15.2+ and visionOS 2.2+, Mac audio plays through the Vision Pro audio pods; system sounds and the microphone stay on the Mac.
